Congratulations on your engagement! After securing your date and venue, your next step will be your gown! Most brides don’t know that many gown designers can take up to 6-9 months to make a gown. Because wedding gowns are handmade and require many months preparation, we recommend ordering a year to 9 months ahead of your wedding date. This ensures plenty of time for the gown to come in and leaves adequate time for alterations to be performed. Do I need an appointment? We are a small boutique and pride ourselves on the incredible one on one attention we give all our customers. Because of this we do require appointments for all try on’s, ordering, fittings, and pickups. What should I expect to spend? Our new, special order wedding gowns range from $900-$2500.

When figuring out your budget, remember to add on for alterations and accessories as those items are separate and can add up quickly. If your budget is under $900, we have a selection of one of a kind sample gowns that are $699 and under. Do you offer Alterations? Alterations are offered on full price gowns only. They are not included in the price of the garment and are an additional cost. The cost is based upon the complexity of what alteration(s) need to be done to the piece. However, you are not required to use our alteration specialist, and may go elsewhere if you already have someone you use/trust to take care of the piece. What/Who should I bring with me? Finding the perfect wedding gown is one of the most important decisions a bride will make. You want to make sure the right people are there to enjoy the moment with you. In our experience when there are too many people, and differing opinions flying around, it can be hard for a bride to concentrate on how she really feels about a gown.

It can become overwhelming very quickly. We recommend that you bring no more than 3 people whose opinions you value with you to your try on appointment. During your appointment, you will be working one on one with a bridal stylist who will be dressing you in the gowns. Please bring or wear a strapless bra and appropriate underwear. If you plan on wearing mom’s veil, or grandma’s pearls, please bring those along too so that you can see how will look with your choices! How come I see wedding gowns online for much cheaper than I do in a store? The internet is a wonderful tool, and many great things can be purchased there.Your wedding dress should not be one of them. The internet is filled with different sites claiming to be selling designer gowns at a discount. They are not, they are selling counterfeit knock offs. These dresses are incredibly poorly made and do not hold a candle to the real designs they claim to be. Many come in with seams not sewn straight, beading glued on and falling off, and are made with low quality fabrics.
