Every day adoptable pets at animal shelters are unjustly euthanized, but this is about to change.  In alignment with the no kill goals of “Redemption” author Nathan Winograd, MuttShack Animal Rescue & Disaster Response has begun its own “Save Our Shelter Pets” crusade in the Los Angeles area. The crusade's mission is to rescue pets in local shelters by setting up pet adoption events in heavy traffic areas, like shopping malls, at local festivals and markets and pet supply stores.  Agreements are now going into place with various shopping mall centers to set up regular pet adoption events. PetCo, PetSmart and Northridge Fashion Square and Pets of Porter Ranch are among the first to welcome MuttShack volunteers and the great array of shelter pets into their centers.
