Welcome to Dragon Heart Kennels We are a small breeder of Labradors. We are located in the rolling hills of Southern Oregon. We are new to the Labrador breed but not to dogs. We have over the years owned mutts, Irish Setters and Huskies. When our last dog Baby, a Siberian Husky passed away we were heart sickened and lost. It was a hard decision for us but we decided on a Labrador this time. So that is how we ended up getting Shilo our first lab. Then a few months later we got a playmate for Shilo, Snowy. The two of them soon bonded and are now inseparable. They are true sisters……. After that we got Cherry. So we have three females currently. All of our girls are AKC registered. All are elbow and hip tested and are good. We now have our own male “Casper”Who we got in Febuary 2016. He is a yellow lab but considered to be a polar white in color. We are expecting some lovely pups out of him in the future.   We are currently using my friends males, Chester and BoJangles who is also pictured on my web site.

In Grants Pass but on edge of town for a country feel. Wooded parcel with views of the lower meadow. No extra charge for weekends/holidays!River access, 3 acre property on end of private road. Large one bedroom cottage with full kitchen. Bedroom closes off from family room for privacy. Two brand new single beds in living room and brand new king bed in bedroom!!!. 10 minutes to the center of town. The beautiful Rogue River!Guests get complete privacy. Owner lives next door in main house. Owner uses back entrance and driveway when guests are present. Owner is available 24/7 if needed!!Guests have access to path to river, and open areas immediately around cottage. Lower meadow, irrigation canal and pump house and areas around main house off limits unless previously arranged.

I give guests total privacy unless they need something or have a question! I always err on the side of privacy but would gladly gab with you about any local restaurants, hiking trails or anything else I can help you with!Quiet, rural, lots of wildlife. Take a walk on the local roads and visit our neighbors' horses, goats, mules, and donkeys! The river walk is gorgeous and path to the river wooded and serene.Medford airport is 30-40 minutes away. Portland airport approximately 4 hours away. I5 is 5 miles away and HWY 199 is only a mile away. We have new floors. Please wipe up any liquid spills immediately so they don't get damaged. Smoking of ANY KIND including vaping and /or illegal drugs are not allowed ANYWHERE on the property, inside or out. Burning of candles, incense, etc. is not allowed. Campfires or outdoor fires are not allowed anywhere on the property including near the river. If there is evidence of smoking in the cottage you will lose your security deposit. 2. Pets are not allowed ANYWHERE on the property.

Please do not bring your pets or let other people bring pets to run around.2. Please respect the neighborhood and make no excessive noise. No gatherings other than the registered guests allowed on the property except for briefly. People other than those in the Guest party may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.3. Please drive slowly on long driveway. There is wildlife around, and also our neighbor’s chickens can sometimes cross the road. We don’t know why. 4. The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. Homeowners disclose that the property is not child-friendly, including but not limited to the following: There are unfenced water features onsite, the gas and electric heaters are hot to the touch. Owners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.5.

The following areas are off-limits to guests, especially children: The well house behind the cottage, the stairs down to the pond next to the well house, the house next door and surrounding areas (including garage and shed), lower meadow and irrigation canal. Please inquire first if you wish to explore the lower meadow. Directions to the river are in the white binder on the coffee table.6. Full payment is due when you book and for VRBO, a second installment 30 days prior to reserved dates. If payment is late, tenants risk losing the deposit and reservations, based on cancellation policy for reservation method.7. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Liquid spills on floors are to be cleaned immediately, as to not damage laminate. If you can’t reach the spill (under range or refrigerator), please let us know so that we can attend to it. 8. Only use appliances for their intended uses.9. Parking: Parking is limited to 2 vehicle(s) unless previously arranged with owner. Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only.

Parking on the road is not permitted. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. 10.Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. There is a washer and dryer in the unit available to the renter. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units.11. Washer and dryer: Follow directions for high efficiency washer. The operating instructions are VERY different than a standard washer. ONLY use laundry detergent provided and use ONLY an ounce of detergent maximum. Don’t launder water proof/resistant items such as windbreakers, rain coats or rubber bottom bath mats. Clean lint screen on dryer after every use. 12. Gas Fireplace: The fireplace is operated by the wall thermostat. Do not attempt to adjust pilot light or make adjustments on fireplace itself. If it is not working or the pilot goes out, contact owner.

Single beds shall be kept in an "L" shaped layout when gas heater is being used. Keep all furnishings and other objects 3' or greater away from heater; Additional space heaters will be provided upon request. (Winter only, gas fireplace is turned off in summer.) New ductless heat pump will also heat cottage, but you’re welcome to use Gas fireplace if you prefer. Please do not move toaster over to tables in dining area. It will set off the smoke alarm.Back sliding glass door is new and has a new screen. The cost to rescreen due to any rips or damage will be taken out of damage deposit.13. We have a new ductless heat pump in the living room above the window. This will heat and cool the cottage. There is a remote for the operation, and instructions in the white binder.14. The property is on a well and septic systems The septic system will clog up if improper material is flushed. Please DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products, wipes, paper towels, dental floss or other products should be flushed at any time.
