We will begin accepting deposits for our spring 2017 litters on June 15th 2016. These selectively bred wolfdog pups will be available for sale to approved facilities and homes only. There will be a limited number of puppies produced so we advise early deposit placement for best eligibility. With proper training, pups from our lines have the potential to make great educational ambassadors and film models. Adopt a Golden Atlanta has rescued 158 Golden Retrievers from Istanbul, Turkey, since May 2015. The first flight arrived on May 9, 2015, and was the largest international rescue of Golden Retrievers ever. AGA never says no to a Golden Retriever in need. There are many homeless dogs in Turkey and not enough room in the shelters for all of them.

Because there is no shelter euthanasia and few adoptions in Turkey, dogs either live out their lives in a shelter or are put on the streets or in the forests after they are spayed or neutered and given rabies vaccines. But Golden Retrievers don’t survive well on the streets. They are not good pack animals and won’t fight back, so many are attacked by other dogs and their survival depends on people helping them. The National Rescue Committee of the Golden Retriever Club of America supports AGA's effort as there are no Golden Retrievers being put at risk in the U.S. because of this rescue. The Turkish Government and our shelter volunteer colleagues in Istanbul want a better life for these dogs and work with us to make this happen. Well look at me – I’m on a jet ski – whooooooosh.  Owens here, CAPTAIN of TEAM GOLDEN for the Yorkville Run/Walk.  Since I arrived from Istanbul, I have had SO MUCH FUN!!  Thank you Golden Rescue.  So, here’s the scoop.  I want YOU to join TEAM GOLDEN for the Yorkville Run/Walk on September 11th.  So far, 65 humans and 32 fur-walkers are joining me and raising funds for all my Canadian and Istanbul buddies who need your help.  Some of them are so sad and lonely, but life doesn’t have to be like that.  You can walk for them (with your fur-kid) and help raise funds to make them happy and healthy – maybe even ride on a jet ski!  C’mon, let’s ROCK RESCUE in Yorkville.  Vrooooom – off I go… Hey there - Yorkville Run participants! It’s your CAPTAIN of TEAM GOLDEN, Owens.
