Save1Pet, Inc., formed in 2004 in Olive Branch MS, is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit and is a support organization to assist the local animal shelters with increasing adoptions and public awareness regarding the responsibilities of caring for domestic animals.It is, and will be, the mission of Save1Pet, Inc. to reduce pet overpopulation, encourage responsible caring of domestic animals and promote the humane treatment of animals. If you are interested in adopting and are eighteen (18) years of age or older, we ask you to fill out our adoption questionnaire as a first step in the adoption process. Please be advised that for all adoptions, we will conduct reference checks, including veterinary references. For dog adoptions, we do conduct fence verifications. Adoption Donations are $95 for dogs and $65 for cats. This donation helps cover the cost of vaccinations, spay/neuter, and other care. New Beginnings Animal Rescue We adopt cats and kittens locally in Shelby County (TN), Tipton County (TN) and in North Mississippi specifically Desoto County (MS).In August of 2012 we implemented a program to list our dogs and puppies that are available for adoption in several different states up North. / which is a USDA licensed and registered transport company that transports our dogs & puppies to their new families up North.We cannot possibly thank our wonderful adopters, (both locally and up North) enough for opening your hearts and homes to our rescue pets!This program was established through the dedicated efforts of our board members and in conjunction with our local adoptions of cats, kittens, dogs and puppies - has helped greatly to address the problem of homeless and unwanted pets in our community.
