Ragdoll Cat Adoption Nj

- FOR ADOPTION IN NEW YORKRagdoll ► RESCUE ALERT ◀We have several kittens ready now, they are all family raised with children and dogs, andI am so thankful to have learned about this website Rescue Me. I was posting far and wide all over my Facebook, and having friends share with their friends, etc. Wasn't having much luck until I posted my kitties here. Almost immediately, I started receiving responses from people interested in my 'girls' and wanting to know more about them. Then I received a message from Jim, who had a story similar to mine. He also had two sister kitties that he had adopted, and they were all together for eight years before his girls passed away. Both, within two months of each other. His girls were actually five or six years old when he got them, so add another eight years to that and they lived to about 14 years old. Can't imagine what a heartbreak he must have endured with their passing. Well, when he saw my post with my 'girls' story of needing a new home, he wrote me right away.

His girls even had similar personality traits to those of my kitties. We messaged back and forth for a little bit, and he and his girlfriend, Kristine, were so gracious to make themselves available for whatever was convenient for me. Yesterday, I packed up the girls in their carriers, and we took a road trip. So much about Jim and Kristine was so 'right' feeling from the very beginning. I could tell that they had developed an attachment to my Baby and Bitsy, and were wanting to give them a loving and forever home. I feel so blessed to have crossed paths with them, and probably never would have any other way other than through the use and benefits of this wonderful website. What started out as a sad, heavy heart for me ended up as a grateful, glad, piece of mind secure feeling that my girls were in such a perfect place. Yes, I miss them a lot already, but have already received the first update from Kristine and was told that I would be welcome to visit in the future if I should ever find myself down around their neck of the woods!

And thank you Jeff Gold, for creating such a wonderful service such as Rescue Me, and making it available to all of to be able to save lives. Should You Declaw Your Cat?What can I do for a dog that is itching all the time? May be an allergy... The first answer is pretty thorough but I would like to add a few points.the type of food you are feeding your dog may be the key. If you are using a food that is grain, rice or corn based in the first three ingredients, please change to a food that is meat or chicken based.

Many dogs are allergic to grain, rice, wheat and corn and these things are used as primary ingredients in many well known, name brand dog foods. Secondly, all treats that have these ingredients should be cut out. It takes weeks to months before a food change can show results so you must be patient. Jumping from one food to another will be counter-productive. Some dogs are so allergic to flea or other insect bites that one or two bites can cause a severe reaction. Once the itching/scratching cycle begins, it is hard to stop it. Benadryl is good but I suggest liquid form. You can get it inexpensively at one of the dollar stores. The pills take time to break down in the digestive system so you get better and faster results with the liquid. One tsp= 5cc and most dogs of average size can tolerate that much and more if the dog is a larger breed. Allergy testing is very expensive and most dogs will test positive to some things. That does not mean that the itching is coming from those things as many things in the environment can trigger positive test results.
