Replace Brake Light Bulb Peugeot 106

Added on: November 24, 2014 The problem I had was the brake light would not come on when I pressed on the brake and the cruise control also did not work. I had first checked the fuse but this was ok. The brake switch was removed from a peugeot 406 but this is the same type of switch fitted to many makes of cars. Initially the job looks impossible but as you will see it only takes less than a minute to remove the switch. ► ► ► ► ► ► ► ► ► ► Member ID ( Feedback score of 344736) Seller, manage ShopMy eBay Learn more about feedsHome > Moped Type > Puch Find by manufacturerAirsal (9)Athena (1)Bing (12)Bosch (12)C.R.A.P (1)CEV (7)Dellorto (6)DMP (1)EBC (1)EBR (6)GUIA (1)HPI (3)IRC (1)Lucky2strokes (1)Lusito (3)M-Tech (1)Magura (22)NGK (3)OMG (1)Polini (3)Proma (1)Stock (48)Tecno (5)TOP (1)Trail Tech (1)Universal (46) Find by moped brandBatavus (97)Kinetic (33)Vespa (2)Carabela (51)Derbi (49)Garelli (50)Honda (32)Jawa (39)Kreidler (90)Minarelli (54)Morini (53)Motobecane (62)Peugeot (112)Puch (355)Sachs (89)Solo (67)Tomos (55) Find by part typeApparel (3)Carburetion (20)Controls, cables, bars (32)Cylinder kits, heads, pistons (17)Decals (25)Electrical (53)Engine (39)Exhausts (13)Frame and body (35)Gas tanks and caps (2)Gaskets (18)Hardware (15)Intakes and reeds (4)Lighting (38)Pedals and cranks (7)Speedometers (11)Suspension (22)Tools

A knocking noise started coming from the front of the car, and it required a bottom suspension arm, due to excessive play in the ball joint. While I had the car jacked up, I just replaced both lower arms at the same time. Also, sometimes when it's at idle, the revs vary between 1000 and 3000rpm. Apparently this is a common problem with Saxos and 106s with the single point injection engine. This began to happen around the 110000 mileage mark. The car is very quick, and the engine responds well from a hard drive, and is not the slowest 1.1 engine ever made.
Engine seems to be bullet proof, as mine is through the 200000 mile mark, and so far no problems with the gearbox etc.Everything I have replaced on the car has been wear and tear, such as brake pads, discs, rear brake shoes etc.Teacup Chiuaua Puppies For Sale In KyInterior has worn well, considering the car has not had an easy life. Review Date: 27th December, 2010 - Burn a lot of oil. About 1 liter / 2500 km.- Various faults on engine electrics.- Light bulbs blew very often.- Complete exhaust changed two times.- Paint fell off from some parts of the body (not caused by damage).
- Car is very good for city use, parking is not a problem. Long journeys very uncomfortable (it is not meant to be).- Foot pedals close to each other.- Not enough space for legs (my right leg is always touching the central console).- Served me very well over two years of ownership, and never let me down on the road.- Parts are available and inexpensive, and there is a wide network of Peugeot service centres. Review Date: 20th July, 2009 1.4 from UK and Ireland When it's going, it is great I have bought my Quiksilver off my sister who owned it from new, she never had problems. I bought it and have spent £800 on it, and it's still not fixed. None of my mechanics know. When I start it, I hear the fuel pump making a noise, and if the noise stops dead, it starts, but most times it whimpers out, and starts and dies out straight away. when I'm driving it stops (it's not the fuel pump, I just replaced that). It idles badly, the rev drops away, but it recovers and rises.
Very fast, and I'm 19 and I have it insured for £1000. Review Date: 16th March, 2007 1.5 diesel from UK and Ireland An honest little trooper! The car was quite rusty underneath when I purchased it, so I had to replace the whole exhaust at 70,000 miles. The back brakes leaked and I had to replace them at 75,000 miles.I had a major problem with the leaky sunroof. I had to re-seal it, but the damage had been done! Seals inside were eroded and screws were rusty. Every now and then I get a leak in the roof which is an ongoing problem until I get it fixed properly.Drive shafts are on their way out (but I guess that is to be expected due to the age and mileage of car) Despite this, the car is reliable and handles nicely.I do a lot of miles in this car and it's a real work horse! The driving position is a little uncomfortable, but its only a small car anyway. The car is getting older now so I expect things to go wrong with it.It is very much - what you see is what you get!
