Only Cold water, didnt want to call plumber to fix it and left it for year. Started calling Plumber - they asked me about $100 labor, i almost decided to use them. Looked online for methods - booom...easy fix.. Issue : Hot Water Stopped Coming. Problem : Cartridge went bad...still analyzing why its bad..which i hardly ever used.. Shut off the water at the water distribution center (in my case it was in my closet upstairs ) Remove the faucet handle Remove the handle adapter and collar Loosen the cartridge with the included plastic part and pliers and removal tool If the plastic tool does not loosen the cartridge, use a puller Check for debris in the valve body and clean as required Re-assemble in reverse order Total Cost : Faucet Puller - $12, Moen Cartridge 1222 - $39

Now that I know, I'll be able to repeat it no problem if I ever have to. But it's still a pain! Not sure you'll ever know the why it went bad.
