The blade system comes loose, and tightening the parts inside doesn't work. Just what I needed. While all I needed was the washers to replace the old ones the descriptions and assistance for this was missing so I had to buy the whole unit I love my Waring blender. I've had it since 1999, and I use it almost daily, so when the glass broke, I just bought this replacement and it works great! I absolutely loved this blender initially, but the glass keeps cracking around the blade near the bottom. I

am on my third one. They just don't last. Works as advertised. Will update if I see any leaks! I am so glad we found this container to replace our 10-year old one.
