She got out sometime after 3 pm Sunday, 7/10/16, near 74th and Sycamore. Our address is Kansas City but we are only a few... streets over from Raytown. Our Street, Sycamore, runs between James A Reed and Manchester. I never let her come outside alone. However, she is so small I think she slipped out the door when I was carrying groceries in. As soon as I sat them down, I immediately noticed she wasn't behind me.

She was gone that fast, like one minute, gone. Please post her picture and ask if anyone has seen her or knows her whereabouts to call 816-337-2849. It's hot and I know that someone could have possibly picked her up. However, I am just super paranoid because I have come across multiple dog thefts while going door to door looking for her. We have kids that know she has medicine that she has to take and they know the longer she's gone, the worse it is for her health. She is small and looks like a puppy but is 8 years old. Please help us find her, before it's too late, please. I'm worried about her and broken hearted without her. If you see her, and she is outside she may run and might not be easy to catch. I can only imagine how scared she is because she's never been outside alone. If you see her please call me and I will come immediately to get her. UPDATE: The Yorkie at Blue Springs Animal Control was not mine. Please keep looking and forward any leads you may have to me. I'm open to any suggestions on any other places that I can post her.

He had no idea where he was and I could tell he missed his old home. When I heard he had escaped while I was at work, I frantically searched and called out to him for hours. Once the adrenaline wore off I became afraid. Afraid he would get hurt, that he couldn't find his way home. I made a Facebook post, called animal control, and walked around after work until dark that day and the next. When there was no sign of him I didn't know what else to do. I

"I can't stop smiling!" Nick Jones From Karin: The search for Finnick was complicated. The wily Aussie, stayed in the woods most of the 15 days and was invisible to the citizens in the area. Like most Aussie's he did not travel a far distance from his point of escape but he did travel a long way within his route. When I tracked him, we figured out how he was traveling and began to attract him with food within he route. Traps were placed. We continually placed signage in every place we thought someone might see him come out of the woods... ultimately it was these placements that created the awareness to his situation and resulted in THE call. On

the last day of his adventure, we received a call from a man who had seen Finnick back on the expressway where we had tracked him earlier in the week. He appeared to be injured. Steve, Nick's Dad went to the sighting. As Steve was re-baiting the trap he saw Finnick bolt through the woods. He moved away from the trap and calmly sat down. He quietly called to Finnick and then just sat still. Finnick saw Steve and went to him immediately without hesitation. Finnick was injured and it is likely he was hit by a car. His hip and femur are badly damaged and he will have surgery to repair the damage this week. He is back home... Paws Up to Steve and Cindy, Nick's parents who with the search every step of the way.
