On a previous rental the clerk who waited on me was very helpful in determining the far end drop off location. This time the (different) clerk was not. Other than that, I really like this facility. Manager of this location called, got no answer, and did not leave a message. Then no additional email was sent to inform customer of the pickup location. As a result, when I arrived at the "preferred pickup location" (the only location I knew about), I was told the trailer had to be picked up somewhere else, 15 miles in the opposite direction of where I needed to be.

Very poor customer service on the part of the manager of this location in Hazelwood, MO. No concession was offered for any inconvenience this caused me; essentially blaming the whole misunderstanding on me, the customer. Grade A service overall. They provided the best service I've ever gotten from UHAUL, and I've most a lot in my life. Awesome service and very helpful people. Great service by the team - very prompt and attentive!would have liked to get it earlier, but none were available. That being said the trailer was ready when the said it would and it was in good condition. the over all experience was good The first van we were given smelled like smoke and we refused it. The second van was terrific, brand new. I strongly encourage U-Haul to only rent to those who abide by a strict "no smoking" policy. I have no idea at the moment because I didn't experience any problems Online availability is in correct The truck was clean, but the check engine light came on 4 hours from destination and the truck had to be towed.

We lost an entire day of installation time that cost me over $500. Very rude customer service did not give me the 4 hours requested I received 2 hours and 45 mins. I will not be back at this location. We reserved a trailer on line. When we got there to pick it up they had no record of what we had reserved. They didn't have the blankets, furniture dolly or have any of it ready. Waited a long time to return the truck to check out.After i informed one of the workes he was nice to go inside the building and returned with a device and got me out in a hurry.That was nice and quick.i like the portable check out device. Your prices are really high I was expecting the only be about 30 bucks for my move because I rented a U-Haul Van ended up paying almost 70 bucks which is totally ridiculous I had a great experience. The Uhaul just had front bumper collision damage. I've had a unit there for over two years & could not discard a couple of items in the dumpster on the premises without cost.

Right rear tire went flat after driving only about 15 miles with the trailer empty. There was another U-Haul facility only abut 1.5 miles away, but we had to drive back to the place of rental to have the tire replaced. This used up 2.5 hours of our planned 5 hours. The owner said a couple of months age the software was changed so that for the closer facility to fix the tire, the entire rental would have to be transferred to the 2nd facility. Also, the D-ring in the right front of the trailer was installed too close to the floor rendering it useless (it was trapped by the floor rib). Also, when attempting to pre-register your software seemed to remove my data, so I had to start over with a new request. This resulted in two orders, one of which was cancelled by a female (could not catch her name since she talked way too fast) when she phoned the next day for a review of the order. I have been renting U-haul trailers since 1967 and this is the 1st time I have had any trouble. Also, when entering the model year of my truck (a 2000 Chev ¾ ton Suburban), I felt falsely accused since 2013 I have installed many new GM parts including but not limited to: receiver hitch & trailer plug-in, wheel bearings including new front rotors & ABS sensors, universal joints, fuel lines, all new brake pads, brake hoses, fuel lines, water pump, pwr steering pump

, belts, hoses, 100,000 plugs & wires, pulleys, ball joints, steering tie rod joints & ends, & some others. Instead of accusing, ask more more gentle questions such as how may miles (as appropriate or how old is the receiver hitch, steering components, brakes, etc. The nature of your approach to my trucks condition made me feel angry & I thought about never renting from you again. It was definitely a pleasure working with Chris. Even after the call center messed our reservation up Chris went above and beyond to assist us! Now the truck we picked up at the location on Page was full of dog hair and fleas but the truck we got from the Hazelwood location was good. Thank you Chris again for the help even after we got to Georgia you continued to help until our issue was resolved. It was a pleasure and greatly appreciated! You have it down very well.
