A luxurious camp with outstanding big cat and game viewing opportunities, Sayari Camp is located in the isolated northern territory of Tanzania’s Serengeti. The camp is near to the Mara River, which contains crocodile and hippo, and looks out across the distant Masai Mara. Sayari Camp comprises 15 large and comfortable tents divided into two annexes to retain the privacy of a smaller camp. Every tent is elevated on a wooden platform and is complete with luxury modern furniture, en-suite facilities with running water, flushing toilet, and a freestanding bath. You enjoy incredible views across the Serengeti from your terrace, bed and bath. Each wing also has a private lounge and dining space. A stay at Tanzania’s Sayari Camp gives you the chance to enjoy daily game drives in 4x4s across a truly amazing area with phenomenal resident wildlife.
The camp also lies astride the zebra and wildebeest migration route, which crosses the Mara River and moves north to the Masai Mara between July and November. You can also, when conditions permit, accompany guides on morning and afternoon walking safaris.  Once the migrating animals have left for the southern plains, Sayari Camp gives you a tranquil private concession experience, with hardly any other vehicles or people about. Donna and Mark's safari to Tanzania and South Africa Wednesday, May 6, 2015 We felt that this was the pinnacle of the Tanzania experience. Seeing the migration was awesome, unforgettable, everything we hoped it would be. Our guide, Albert, was fantastic, and we were very happy we did a private guide here. He moved heaven and earth and drove like a demon to show us amazing things. We saw river crossings from the vehicle, river crossings on foot (!!), drove to the Kenyan border and saw more wildebeest than you can imagine and a lot of cats chasing them.
It was one of the best safari experiences we've had. The tent was fantastic, the views amazing, the food mixed - lunches were fabulous, some of the best we've had in Africa, dinners not so good. The camp is split in two, we were in the smaller half which we thought would feel more exclusive, but actually it felt a bit ignored. Rv Rentals In Hilo HawaiiWe think this was because there was a large family group in the bigger half, with a lot of kids, so they were probably quite demanding as a group. Cheapest Toilet Bowl In SingaporeThere was little sign of any senior managers, and for example, every afternoon the kids from the other camp would be screaming in the pool..... not quite what you want to hear in the middle of the bush when you are looking at the amazing scenes in front of your room, and you would think that a manager would head out there and try to quieten them downMilitary Surplus Tires In Ga
There was no-one to do bar service at night, you really had to go and hunt for a member of staff to sort drinks. So a mixed report - the room, the setting, the wildlife, the guiding, all totally excellent. The service at camp, not so great. Another Asilia camp.... having experienced and beyond and Wilderness, it felt as though Asilia was not quite in the same league. Oh, and the tsetse flies - absolute nightmare. We were very very badly bitten despite using every possible precaution. I got bitten through my trousers so badly that they drew blood through the fabric! However it was worth it to see the migration. Helmut and Patricia's safari to Tanzania Saturday, February 7, 2015 We found that the glass sliding entry doors to the tents, instead of zipped netting, made for very poor ventilation and resulted in very hot tents. The large bath tub is pretty pointless as water pressure is very low. N. Tanzania is suffering from a bad plague of tsetse flies at present.
Never before seen so many-got very badly bitten. Saw lion, cheetah and leopard, a serval, oribi and klipspringer among the more usual animals. Very enjoyable game drives. Wednesday, October 9, 2013 Our last stop on our trip and we saved the best for last! Thousands of wildebeest, a pair of Klipspringers, a leopard, mating lions, elephants bathing in the river – hippos crocs and more! Nice to relax in the pool afterwards. SUPER hosts and staff at Sayari. We will remember this magical place always. Sayari Camp is positioned very close to the Mara River and overlooks the nearby Masai Mara. This areas historically has been regarded as one of the prettiest parts of the park but has been unsafe from bandits and poachers for safari operators to consider it. Now it is a little gem. It is a great place to see regular river crossing and great game far away from other busier parts of the Mara and Serengeti. However, I can see this place only getting busier but hopefully not for a while.
