We care for relinquished dogs from owners who can no longer keep or care for their dogs. The thing to remember with any of the poisons that contain Warfarin is that the dog may seem perfectly fine for several days, even a week, and then become desperately ill very suddenly. The mechanism in the poison takes a while to work. So if you ever *know* your pet has eaten warfarin, don't wait to see if they get sick -- take them for treatment immediately!
