If th sale went through at the end of this season, RCB would be entitled to 45 percent of the sale price. For example, if the Muckdogs sold for $5 million, the Wings would get $2.25 million.Red Wings President/CEO/COO Naomi Silver released the following statement:“We are not in a position to comment on the current status except to say that baseball will go on as expected in 2016,” the statement read. “The Red Wings are very proud of the way we have operated the Batavia franchise.

We are looking forward to opening day in Batavia June 22.”Any plan to sell the Muckdogs requires approval at the Major League Baseball level.
