Roxie and her Fabulous 4Posted by Momma Roxie And the Fabulous 4Oklahoma Boston & Bully Rescue added 2 new photos.Recap of our weekend, Momma Roxie Began to Show early Signs of labor and a fever of 99.5 on Friday morning come Saturday morning she had Not progressed much and was taken in to see the Vet at 11:15am vet said She was getting ready but not there yet, and if she ran into trouble She would need to go to an er hospital to delivery by emergency C-section before monday, otherwise she was scheduled to have c-section Monday morning at 730 am. Saturday Afternoon and evening came and w...ent with multiple mini contractions and Slight pushing, again with No progress or delivery of any puppies. Temp dropped to 98.9. Vet was consulted and she was monitored thru the night Sunday afternoon around 1pm Roxie was sedated and prepped for surgery. Mia And I were able to Assist in the delivery of the fabulous 4 Bully pups. Baby number 1 (we will call him big boy Blue) was turned sideways and this was causes the delivery problems, baby was removed for Uterus removed from sack, sectioned out, cord clamped and handed to me To Rub and Stimulate breathing, shortly baby 2 was deliver and the same Steps were taken baby #2 was handed to Mia to Stimulate breathing

, Repeat process with babies 3 and 4. Babies 3 and 4 were stimulated quickly and we're soon crawling all over the table. Babies 1 and 2 were having real problems being stimulated, after approximately 30 minutes baby #3 let out her first cry and started breathing well on her on. The stimulation process continued with Baby 1, He was Very Pale and Several times we thought we were going to loose him but We weren't going to give up on these kids whose Momma fought So Hard to bring them into these world. All the while momma Roxie is fighting her own Battle to survive, Her heart rate dropped several times during surgery, She lost a lot of Blood and when her heart rate was finally stable and surgery was Over She did not want to wake up from Sedation. After several Hours, We thanked the Lord when Momma Roxie opened her eyes for the first time and wagged her tail At us. Happy Birthday Baby's, and Happy New beginnings day Sweet Roxie... and thank you to everyone from the Bottom of Our hearts and Theirs for All the Prayers and support.

He said to Watch her and should she show signs of going into distress over the weekend to take her to the ER hospital otherwise if she continues the way she is right now he scheduled for a c-section Monday morning at 730am since she isn't baring down or Straining at this time the Dr thinks she is still In early labor. But did say that there is one large puppy that may be come a problem. And if we notice any signs of distress she will have to go to the Emergency Vet in Tulsa and have an emergency C-section before mondayOklahoma Boston & Bully RescueMomma Roxie is In Labor, Puppies will be Arriving Soon.

Roxie is Heartworm Positive So Prayers For A complication free Delivery would be appreciated. Also Roxie and her Babies could use a few Items to help them off to A good Start.
