Our Featured Regina, SK Partner: Bright Eyes Dog Rescue PLEASE USE APPLICATION LINK ABOVE, NOT EMAIL!We are a registered charitable organization, located in Regina, SK, Canada dedicated to helping dogs that have fallen on hard times (homeless, abandoned and in some cases, surrendered). With the help of dedicated volunteer foster families, our dogs live as part of the family while they are in foster care right up until they move in with their new family. We strive to help with the over-population of pets by making sure each and every puppy*, adolescent and adult dog is spayed/neutered. (*Note: sterilization of puppies is the owner's responsibility and proof of sterilization must be shown at 6 months of age.) > "maltese" in pets in Saskatchewan Get an alert with the newest ads for "maltese" in Saskatchewan.Search and see photos of adoptable pets in the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan area Our Featured Saskatoon, SK Partner: New Hope Dog Rescue We are a registered charitable organization of (867121808RR0001) volunteers based in Saskatoon, SK. dedicated to rescuing unwanted, stray, abandoned, neglected and abused dogs.

All of our rescued dogs are placed in foster care homes when we have a foster home available until a permanent home can be found. Here the dogs receive much needed attention, love, training, and exercise on a daily basis. Being in a home environment can eliminate stress, neurotic behaviors, and illness that may happen with living in a cage or kennel. Being in a home environment allows for an on-going assessment of the dog and what the dog is like to live with. Knowing the dogs personality and quirks helps to determine the best possible permanent home for each dog.It is our main goal to place each dog in a nurturing and loving environment in a permanent home suited to each dog.All dogs that come into New Hope Dog Rescue are spayed or neutered and receive vaccinations and microchipping prior to being adopted. We ALWAYS need foster homes who are willing to open their home to a dog in need. This can range from a puppy who needs a good start to a home with someone patient willing to work with the dog.

We accept donations of cash (pays for medical expenses or doggie school to brush up on manners before adoption), crate, toys, food, leashes/collars and blankets or bedding. The number of dogs we save is completely limited by the number of people available to help. At New Hope Dog Rescue our dogs are our main concern. Rescued, homeless, abandoned, neglected and abused dogs have been through enough upheaval once, we don't want them to experience it again. To ensure this we go through what may seem a lengthy process. We want potential adopters to be fully aware of the responsibilities involved in loving and giving a home to one of our dogs. We also ensure that the dog is a match to the adopters lifestyle and expectations. If you are interested in adopting one of our rescue dogs you can expect to be involved in the following process:1. Fill in the application. Applications are received and evaluated on a first come basis2. Our adoption co-ordinator will get the foster home to tell you all about the dog and set up a time for you to meet.
