So we paid $99/night to take our 2 basketball teams to Hilo. We stayed in the rooms by the pool area. The hotel was able to put all of our rooms by each other. The rooms were clean and had an AC in it. The rooms were clean and the people who worked there were very friendly. family of four stayed in two rooms this august This is an excellent budget hotel -very hawaiian very local style and we really liked the calm and friendly atmosphere.The hotel is very clean and has a great location. We actually preferred this hotel over the gaudy and high end Hilton Waikoloa where we spent some time as well. This hotel was very clean and comfortable for a budget hotel. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. It is in a good location too - it's close to Hilo airport and only a five minute drive to the city centre for restaurants and supermarkets. Good place to stay if you just need a place to sleep. Rooms are a little date with old furniture. Bathrooms are small and plumbing is in need of repair.

I arrived early and asked for an early check in. Front desk clerk said that they were sold out but she would try to see if any thing could be... Booked this hotel as the one we wanted was not available. Pictures on website were not quite the same as our room was....maybe some rooms had been updated. The hotel did not seem to be full, but we were given a room in "a cave area" of the hotel, off in a corner with a few of a brick wall...there... We stayed for 3 nights (August 13-15, 2016). On the first day, we visited the Volcanoes park, driving to Holei Sea Arch at the end of Chain of Craters... I was in room 231,wicker stuff on balcony overlooking the koi fish pond.i stayed here for mon.to fri.this week.nice décor and room.free apple bananas and papaya on the front desk,restaurant--coconut grill next door,ate there twice,nearby other restaurants,1 mile down banyan way is lilliuokalani Japanese gardens,with real lavaflow in bunches,reeds bay has lava coming out of the water,nice to see.inside this... I recently spent four days at Hilo Seaside during a small holiday. The facilities are a little dated but well maintained. The parking seems limited but I did find a spot every evening. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The location served me well for all of my planned activities. I would stay here again. This is an older hotel, well kept, comfortable, not luxurous, but very well located. For a first time traveler to the big island it is easy to find all you want within walking distance: restaurants, beach parks, gas station, and intersection of major highway routes.

Absolutely, this is a great place to stay in Hilo, and a wonderful value. Clean, with accommodating staff and a Hawaiian Museum (remove shoes before going in!). I absolutely love the Big Island, and it feels Hawaiian here. I love that the lobby and halls have no walls. There is the koi pond outside, which rises and falls with the... The Yorkshire Terrier is a tiny dog, but this should not be confused with delicacy. They have a strong sense of self and prefer to be treated with respect and no pampering. They can be overly brave when dealing with larger dogs, but they do get along fine with cats and most other household pets. The Yorkshire Terrier requires intensive brushing and combing on a daily basis or else the coat should be trimmed professionally. Keep the hair out of the eyes with a bow and check the ears often for loose hairs. This breed responds best to consistent training. With the right approach, learning comes quickly. The Yorkshire Terrier can adjust to the activity level of your family, but does enjoy getting out and romping from time to time. This breed is prone to bronchitis and early tooth decay. Some digestive problems and fragile bones may also be seen. I ordered bellybands for him in April. They are an absolute life-saver. We purchased the maxi pads that are recommended. This has been the best thing ever. Before the band, we basically had him on a leash all the time to try and control his accidents. It was miserable for him and for us. He’s regained his freedom in the house and it created a very peaceful home again. His condition has him not feeling so hot anyway, and trying to control his movements around the house was causing undue stress on him and us.
