The truck was well maintained mechanically but it was very dirty in the cab and in the trailer.

The guy at the location was very friendly and helpful. The Auto hauler was quite old and worn and showed signs of heavy usage over a long time. One fender was buckled slightly and the other looked like it had been pounded with a hammer. The paint was scarred and dirty. It was functionally sound but looked old and tired. It was a one-way rental going 300 miles away. It looked like a good way to get it out of local inventory. Lakewood Uhaul made the ONE-WAY reservation a week prior to the June 26th pickup. Pick-up location was Court Street in Pasco, I checked in when arriving in town on June 25th and they looked up the reservation and it was in RICHLAND. I had to add more miles to my trip due to Pasco loading point. The Drop off point said I was 5 miles over my estimated travel but DID NOT Charge me due to the error in location pick-up. The U-Haul location was an old service station and run-down. I was able to find the after hours drop box easily and was glad to receive a call from Curley's to confirm the return.

Check truck to make sure A/Chevy works!!! Had to park and unhitch the trailer myself My original reservation was for a 26' truck. Two days before date of pickup, I got the phone call to confirm and tell me that there wasn't a 26' available. This increased my work loading and unloading and the difficulty in driving with the alternative 20' truck and 6' x 12' trailer. Use a Tailer that doesn't leak when it rains so your items inside don't get ruined. I have rented U-haul trucks here before and will do so again. These are nice people to do business with and it is good to see that in today's business world. The truck has multiple problems, luckily we were able to get it parked before an accident occurred! It was one of the scariest experiences ever, and I am pretty sure I will never be renting from uhaul again. It appears the trucks are not serviced or Checked regularly and this to me is unsafe and irresponsible! Like I said, luckily we were able to park the truck before something catastrophic happened, because when the power steering goes out while driving and the brakes start barley working, also while driving it is not a pleasant experience!

I have nothing to add that would improve my approval of this U-haul rental location. They are fast, efficient, and good people to deal with in renting a vehicle. HANDLING FEE - $50 sanitation, prep, walkthrough, and orientation fee, mandatory. SECURITY DEPOSIT - Payment of a $500 security deposit and the remaining balance of your rental is due in full on pickup day. The security deposit is due at pick up and may be used by Woody RV Rentals within 30 days of the unit's return to initialize repair for damage done by renter and/or satisfy past due balances. For example, failure to empty wastewater tanks, return fuel to initial level, top off propane tanks, and/or return unit clean inside and out may result in use of security deposit. FUEL & PROPANE - Propane tank(s) and fuel (if applicable) must be refilled before returning or you will be charged cost plus a $45 fee HOLDING TANKS - Holding tanks for the gray and black tanks must be returned empty. Failure to empty tanks will result in a $25 fee. VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE - CDL is not required.  Our insurance provider requires a clean Motor Vehicle Report on all rentals regardless if unit is being towed, driven, or delivered.

RENTAL INSURANCE - Is required with all rentals and is included at a rate of 10% of the total amount of the rental. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING - If smoke is detected, a $500 fee will be charged to your security deposit NO AWNING USE - If the awning is used and damage is detected you will be responsible for 100% of the repair and/or replacement costs (minimum $500) PET FEE - Pets are welcome for a $75 fee per pet SUNDAY/HOLIDAY PICKUP - We are closed on Sundays, federal holidays, and as needed. Sunday pickups must be approved and are a $100 fee SUNDAY/HOLIDAY RETURN - Returning on Sunday is a $100 fee.
