I specifically wanted the s-curve design, I was more concerned about the fit as well as the quality considering they're inexpensive compared to many others I'd seen. When they came & we installed them, I was pleasantly surprised how they appeared! Installation wasn't difficult, just took some time, we had to trim to fit the bottom off 2 inches and to insure they would be perfectly straight, we measured 1 to exact length, cutting with sharp scissors is best, and 2 at a time is possible, we measured 2 inches up with same piece we cut off 1st pane, and marked straight line with ruler. Only thing to be remembered, make SURE you don't use the last pane in bottom that's not in plastic with the rest of the panes. .that's your top valance, and the 2 side pieces are in a box. I would recommend these for the look alone. The texture gives contrast, and the color is very nice!

If your slats are too long for your application, they are easily trimmed with an ordinary pair of scissors.

I had to do this because this set was installed on my living room window, not a sliding door. As long as furniture, lamps and other objects are not placed too close, these blinds will work just fine. What I would like to mention is that after I picked up my blind from Walmart and opened it up at home a part was damaged in transit. As many of us have seen there was a memo inside that said if any parts are missing or damaged call this number so I did. From day 1, the individual blinds wouldn't all swing the same way so I had to manually move some of them. Maybe that's why they broke. One of the plastic swivels that the individual blinds hook to came off the track. After reconnecting it and while I was trying to reconnect the blind to this swivel, the tab that holds the blind to the swivel tore out so that blind would no longer stay hooked up. It is barely noticeable and not a dramatic looking wood grain. I purchased them to replace the white vertical blinds originally in my bedroom (same hardware so I didn't have to remove my other hardware to hang them which was easy to remove and replace).

I'm so glad I purchased these. Our furniture is espresso and hardwood floors are a cherry but these blinds look great still. They are a milk chocolate color. Only thing I would change is the rod color, it is white but I wish it was the same color as the blinds. Yes () No (9)  Report Yes () No (9) Verified purchaser When the box was delivered by fed ex, the end of it was opened I had the option to not accept it but was anxious to put the new blinds up so I asked the driver if he thought everything was in the box he said oh sure, nothing could have fallen out. Needless to say, later on that evening I brought the box in the house and removed all the pieces, the rod for the blinds was super damaged so I was able to fix it by prying it open with screw drivers. I then realized I had absolutely no hardware at all and no instructions. I figured ok, I'll use the hardware already on the wall, well that didn't work because new blind wasn't as wide as the old one so I had to put the new slats on the old rod then it was time for the valance, no hardware here either so after some time thinking of what I could use in the house to attach this to hide the wrong colored rod I came up with velcro commando strips for hanging pictures.

All and all it looks good just a major headache and I spent over 50 bucks just to change the color of the slats. Because I am a senior citizen (female) I thought I would have to have someone come in and hang the blinds. However, after reading the instructions, I decided to try to hang them myself. They were not at all hard to hang up. The only tricky part was getting the rod to rock into place. They are a nice brown color but they do not look anything like wood, nor do they give the appearance of "faux wood" as stated. The wand that you use to open and close the blinds is not the sturdiest, and will bend easily so much care and caution is needed when opening and closing the blinds.

The actual blinds are a high grade PVC, they do not look cheap and are not flimsy. They are very easy to install, but I do recommend a power screwdriver or tool to make sure that they are anchored securely. If you are looking for a blind that gives you the look of wood, this is not the product for you. If you are looking for a practical, efficient, slightly embossed blind in a medium brown color this will work. I used them for our glass patio doors. It was easy to trim the bottom to fit perfectly. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that it doesnt slide that easily.

It get stuck and does not slide smoothly. I am concerned that it may not last long. I have had it for a month so far. They look very nice, the only thing I dont like is the handle is bright white and sticks out like a sore thumb. It should be dark brown as well. Also there arent any replacement parts, so if something gets lost, or breaks you have to buy an entire new set and pick it apart. If one slat rips off, theres a whole other purchase.
