Great highway summer season tire. Snow and ice not good. Vehicle: 2006 Ford Explorer 4 Dr Sport Utility Limited with 90000 KM of Tire Wear made this review on 4/12/2016 and is a My rating is on the S-Series tires my truck was originally equipped with. The poor snow rating is attributed to my truck being 2WD, and its long wheelbase. With my driving habits these tires accrued over 150,000 miles with legal tread. Naturally, it made sense to replace them with the same tire. My second set was the same tire, but the T-Series. They were less 'squirrely' on dry road than the S-Series, but much worse for treadwear. At 68,000 miles they'd fulfilled their warranty requirements, but that's still less than half the miles the S-Series delivered.

(The average driver should not expect the same mileage I've achieved.) BF Goodrich told me the S-Series is no longer available, and could not recommend a comparable replacement. *S-Series & T-Series refer to the speed rating of the tire. It should be noted that, although the two tires are said to be the same model, there is a noticeable difference in feel. There is also a distinctively different tread pattern. But I would say not the greatest for snow covered roads, if you live in the city and do most of your driving in the city or its limits they work, not in the wide open spaces of southern Ontario's snow belt. I would recommend going up to the rugged trail, or the total train or better bfg's as well if you are going to buy the long trails make sure you have AWD or 4x4.
