When an animal's owner does not come forward and cannot be located, the animal is cared for and evaluated to determine if it is eligible for adoption to a suitable home. August Pets of the Month: Zorro the Kitten and Wilma the Dog Meet Zorro and Wilma, who are available for adoption at Greenwich Animal Control. Greenwich Animal Control will hold a low-cost rabies vaccination clinic on Saturday, June 18th from 10AM to noon. Orlaith Carr, DVM of Greenwich Animal Hospital will administer the vaccines. The cost is $20 (cash or check) per pet. Individuals presenting a state assistance ID card will receive a free vaccine for their own pet.
