Lucky was obtained through Willing Hearts in 2001 at the age of 14 months, and served the Gladwyne Fire Company until his passing. was made an honorary “life member” in 2006. This honor was passed along to only one previous mascot of the fire company. He was a devoted friend accompanying our firefighters to various fire prevention events around town, participating in parades, and was a main focal point in many of the birthday parties held at theHe was well known and loved by both members of the fire company and the Gladwyne community.
