They are very well made, are comfortable and look great! The styling is particularly good - nothing too gimmicky but have nice features (metal sliders and streamlined hard plastic 'fins'. They go great against his CBR600RR in blue and white, My husband usually wears an 8 1/2 shoe and so opted for the size 43s in this boot (size 9) which fits perfectly. The price (cheapest I've found anywhere in the UK!) made it even more of a 'no brainer' to go for.

I have worn these for up to 6 hours at a time in very hot weather this summer. They are very comfy and cool. I also tried a pair of TCX s-speed waterproof boots. These were a slightly narrower fit than the Alpinestars which for me offered a bit more comfort (at a cost). Lots of safety features. No need to summarise these here. Compared to the TSX s-speed that I tried on it has slightly less protection on the back of the leg, but nothing that detracts from its 5* rating. The difference from slightly cheaper options in my view is the comfort/fit and Gore-tex (I haven't tested them in the rain, but all reports suggest they are fully waterproof). Recommended.Read moreFalco Avantour Boots - BrownSturdy and comfortable bootsI tried these and the TCX track boots and ended up going for these.

Agreed they don't quite compare like for like, these have a less aggressive tread, for example, but for day to day living, I think these were the right choice. I have used them in very heavy downpours and they have remained dry, although the leather upper absorbs a bit of water (normal for leather) the membrane keeps the feet dry.
Cabins With Hot Tubs In YosemiteThe sole is comfortable for walking and the boots allow sufficient feel for shifting/ braking, although it does take some getting used to as there's less feel than I had in my previous (road/race) boots.
Dolphin Pool Cleaner Clearance Tiniest, minor, niggle which I suspect is more operator error than anything is occasionally when closing the boot, I can't get the gusset to hide under the boot front as such.

I think it's me doing it wrong though, as sometimes it works. Side note: size wise, I tried the TCX in 47 and they were bang on, but had to go for a 46 in these as the 47 were too big, suggesting that the Falco size might be a tad generous.Chat with us now.
