Before our arrival we received a call from the management staff asking if there were any diet restrictions --we said not really and were asked... Manager Carey bent over backwards to help us celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The Sandy room with upstairs loft was perfect, breakfast was great, and the location was ideal - close to shops, restaurants, and attractions. My wife and I stayed in the Sandy Suite, which included The Loft. The purpose of the trip was to spend time with our daughter and son-in-law as we celebrated my birthday.

We enjoyed our stay at Lady of the Lake because of the great location and the wonderful manager, Carey, who was very friendly and gave welcome suggestions. Breakfast was simple but good. The house can use a renovation. Roof, decor, porch, all needed a face lift but it was very clean and centrally located so I would stay again. First time staying @ a B&B. Very eclectic Victorian with tons of charm. Perfect location in downtown Skaneateles within walking distance of everything. Carey was a wonderful host, breakfast magnificent and room was very comfortable. Definitely worth a trip with a group or just your significant other. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be visiting Carey again in the not too... The location of this B&B is convenient to downtown Skaneateles (an easy walk), the breakfasts were delicious and they are very pet friendly. The B&B is eclectically decorated and fairly dark, although there are nice large windows facing the streets. Some of the things were in disrepair, and the sidewalk was an ice rink. My husband and I love the Fingerlakes and have visited Skaneateles once before and stayed at another BnB, which was nice enough... but we had to drive into the village to get the lake, shops and restaurants. Lady of the Lake is right in the center of town and it became clear that this choice in town, which was bustling...
