TWO BEST FRIENDS NEED A NEW HOME
Albie and Luna are Soi Dogs who have been in the UK for 4 years.  Unfortunately, their owner’s circumstances have changed, which means she can no longer take care of them. Albie and Luna are therefore looking for a new home where they can live together. Luna is a lovely girl aged around 7 years.  She is very lively and alert.  She loves being around people, but prefers not to have too much fuss.  She really enjoys her walks, but has proved to be an expert escape artist in the past by wriggling out of her harness.  Luna is devoted to Albie, and can become distressed when separated from him.  She is mainly in good physical shape, although she is losing her sight (in one eye in particular). Albie is about 13 years old.  He enjoys peace and quiet.  He likes to have slow walks where he can take his time to sniff things.  He loves a nice, calm cuddle.  He has some sight and hearing loss, which means he’s easily startled if things get too hectic.  He’s a bit wobbly on his back legs, and has developed some incontinence while sleeping.
His loves his best friend Luna, and is a calming influence on her. Albie needs to find a calm environment to live out his days. Neither dog is good with cats, and would be better in a home with no other dogs.  They have both been through so much and would benefit from stability, patience and love.   SUNSHINE FEMALE JACK RUSSELL. Sunshine: Let us introduce you to this little poppet who arrived at AH gates April 2012 - 4 years ago ! This little one is a typical Jack Russell who loves her walks and enjoys all the smells . Sunshine will climb on your lap for cuddles & gives great kisses, she loves her treats. Here at the rescue Sunshine is often our ambassador for meeting & greeting our corporate groups & always makes them feel welcome with her Waggy tail. When she first arrived at AH it was obvious that she had not been socialized with other dogs although as time has passed she will happily pass other dogs on lead . She would need to be re-homed as an only dog so that she gets all the TLC that this little girly deserves with a secure garden.
Sunshine cannot mix with other dogs. A little garden to run around in , a lap to lay her head and a kind hand is all that Sunshine would require to be in doggie heaven. A petite sweetheart with a BIG heart ! What we are about TEGAN AND TAMARA MALE AND FEMALE LURCHERS. Tegan and Tamara are kennel mates both arrived into our care from the pound and both have been waiting some time for new homes for no reason we can understand. Both are good with people and other dogs. they are looking for seperate homes but if anyone was looking for a pair these two get on really well.  They spent a day with one of our volunteers and here is what he found about the two. “ Took Tegan and Tamara home for the afternoon at the weekend to get to know them and what a delightful pair they are.  On the lead they walked nicely and whilst inquisitive about other dogs and people were easily controlled with no sign of aggression,  Taking them home they were a pleasure, curious about everything but polite with it, and even given the house to explore just wanted to try everything out with no problems when asked to “move on” or get off the sofa!
