The mission of Great Dane Rescue of Tampa Bay, Inc is to take in, whether from a previous owner, an Animal control or other rescue group, or simply stray, Great Dane dogs. We provide these Great Danes with love, food, shelter, and appropriate medical attention, including immunizations, heartworm testing and treatment, spaying or neutering, and euthanasia if necessary. We find homes for these Great Danes in Florida with approved families who will love their adopted Great Dane for life. We provide educational support to the people who adopt these Great Danes, so that they may successfully integrate their new family member. We educate people, including children, dog breeders, other rescue organizations, and members of the general public, about the special needs of Great Dane dogs, the responsibilities of dog ownership, and the importance of spaying and neutering.
