The outside taillight (not the one on the trunk) is am 1157 since does double duty as running light and brake light. The inside taillight (the one on the trunk) is just a running light so an 1156 might work but I remember someone saying that it is set up with an 1157 and dual contact socket but only using one side. This is my understanding and so I ordered 1157 L.E.D. equivalent bulbs but have yet to install them to confirm this. Check out this thread about a member who modified his tail lights, according to his experience the inside is an 1157. post #10 of 89 post #11 of 89 Yes, on both the Koup and Sedan you have to remove the assembly to replace the bulbs.I have no idea why they did it this way! I believe the reverse is a 921 but don't quote me. That should be all the bulbs. I have attached a pdf of the replacement procedure and it shows 2 bulbs in the outer light, 1 for Stop/Tail light and 1 for Turn signal. Then 2 more on the inner light, 1 for tail light and 1 for reverse.

OK so today I decide to look for myself and here's what I found on my sedan. 1. you DO NOT need to remove the tail light assembly. I was able to open to access door in the trunk (you will need to cut/tear the edges) and twist and remove the sockets. Just make a note of the position of the socket after you loosen it, it makes it easier to line it up after wards. 2. the bulbs are as follows: Outer light 1 x 1157 Tail/Brake light in the upper position, 1 x 1156 Signal light in the lower position. Inner Light (on trunk) 1 x 1157 tail light with only 1 filament used, 1 x 921 wedge base reverse light.
