We have a few updates and pointers for you before you arrive...We are not allowed to admit campers to our site until Friday morning but we now have an agreement with the owners of the village green and hall, a few hundred yards from Mt Ephraim, to accommodate campers who wish to arrive on Thursday.

Camping is £15 per adult, £7 per youth (10-15). Thursday campers can stay there all weekend if they wish, providing they have purchased Festival Camping tickets and Campervan/Caravan pass where applicable, or you can move up to the festival site on Friday morning if preferred. Admittance to festival site is from 8am Friday. Please remember to have all your tickets to hand when you arrive; nobody will be allowed into campsites without Festival Tickets, individual camping tickets and Campervan etc pass if applicable. If you do not have all required tickets you will be moved to a holding area until the box office opens at 10am.Only camping vehicles may remain in the campsite. Cars must be parked in the nearby car park. You can drive into campsite (NOT Hernhill Playing Field) to unload camping equipment but must remove your car as soon as possible. Please note the TENTS ONLY campsite means just that, no campervans or caravans. Please remember that no glass is allowed in the venue, and no food (excluding special dietary requirements, gluten-free etc) or alcohol may be brought into the concert arena, although you can take alcohol out with you when returning to campsite.

Four-pint containers will be available at the bar so no need for warm tinnies in your tent :-) DRUGS are not permitted anywhere on site, other than prescribed drugs of course. The police have "advised" us that our particular demographic is high risk, surprisingly, so they WILL be looking! We don't want you to be thrown out and we don't want the festival to be closed down, so please, NO DRUGS! CAMPING If you need to camp in the disabled area please follow the signs on arrival. Remember this area is primarily for people with mobility restrictions, not other disabilities, so please consider this when camping. We had originally planned to have a QUIET campsite, but we have been told in no uncertain terms that ALL campsites must be quiet! You know how some people are, somebody will complain about noise no matter what, so please don't give them any ammunition. Naturally you might want to sit with friends at night for a late drink and a chat, but please keep the noise down. No amplified music is permitted after midnight.

Unfortunately we have been unable to arrange a shuttle bus to and from the festival. There is a regular bus service during the day until 6pm from Faversham Station to Staple Street, very close to the venue. However there is no service on Sunday. The Faversham to Canterbury bus No 3 is a regular service between Faversham and Canterbury which stops in Boughton approx 1/2 mile from the site. Get off at Colonels Lane and take the footpath opposite this lane 1/2 mile across the fields and you are at Mt Ephraim. There are plenty of cabs to hand, and we will have a "Cab Share" scheme in place for people who wish to share a cab back to Faversham and other places. Full details will be in the Festival Programme on sale during the event. Speaking of which... if you would like to advertise in the programme please contact us via the email address on our website. Additionally we are offering spaces in the programme for short personal messages, birthday dedications, a shout-out to friends etc. An eighth of a page is available for just £10 - see the Webstore at www.anewdaymerchandise for details.
