Colleen is a fabulous host and pulled out all the stops for our stay. The inn is warm, inviting and well loved. The rooms are well appointed and the beds are comfortable. Colleen spared no expense on making us welcome. The food was fantastic with fresh baked... We needed to get away for a couple of days but did not want to drive too far.

Hedley is about 3 hours drive from home so we left home mid morning and were at the B&B before 3:00pm after some stops along the way to take in the scenery. Harry welcomed us into to his home as though we... We planned to stay in nearby Princeton, but a music festival had filled every room in town. because Harry had one room available at his B&B. Directions given over the phone were easy to follow. The room was clean and pleasant, and breakfast was fantastic. Lots of interesting talk over the meal with our host and our fellow... This is a hidden gem .Harry makes you feel right at home from the second you meet him. Our room was so beautifully decorated that it was really apparent that this was his late wife's dream. Harry cooks a wonderful breakfast [his own eggs and bacon] with fruit etc. all presented with care. There are lovely places outside to sit... I have had several visits to this B&B and never disappointed. Breakfast with homemade sausage patties, fresh eggs from his chickens homemade jams and you are good to go for the day!

And of course conversation is not lacking. Sleeping in the King Bed and hearing the river makes one not ever to get up! 4 lambs in the field... “Food and Friendship is the best!” This was a wonderful quiet break in our travels, right on the river. We spent a pleasant few hours sitting under the gazebo by the waters edge enjoying a bottle of wine. Although the house was absolutely delightful with large guest rooms and bathrooms, Harry the host is what made it for us. He is warm and welcoming and so... Harry the host is so passionate about his B&B....the dream of his late wife Dianne....that you can't help but enjoy your time at the Old Hedley Inn. A wonderful location within easy reach of winery visits to the East & Princeton just minutes to the West. The property is right on the river, is extremely well appointed with giant bed/lovely... We enjoyed our time at the Old Hedley Inn - Harry and Dianne were very welcoming and the breakfast in the morning was outstanding.
