Shelters are full of other dogs they are loud and scary. Adopters don’t always get to see the full potential of the dog. They are held back by fear and because of this they can spend a long time in a shelter, if they get adopted at all. The dogs are cared for but shelters have a lot of dogs and a lot to do. Each dog dose not get the amount of love and time they could get from a one on one foster home. Being a foster means you know the dogs like’s dislikes, what kind of home they would be good in and what they need most.
