I love him to death, he's my big, burly boy--the polydactyl paws, huge catcher's mitt feet that are adorable and mine also has the "stripe" that goes up under the tail like a skunk's!
If he's outside and I call him, he trots to me, tail straight up like a banner or one of those elongated dusters! He also likes spaghetti sauce and has the most hysterical yawn on the planet. Can someone tell me if there is a Maine Coon cat society or club that is an organization unto itself and not part of an overall cat fancier's group? I believe I read that the Maine Coon is now listed as second only to the Persian in popularity. Please correct me if I'm wrong.. A real life thing could be challenging living in Europe. I am aboslutely in love with this breed too. Do you have any photos of your Maine Coon? I'd LOVE to see some :-D I also heard about their rank of popularity, 2nd after the Persian. Maine Coons are the best IMHO If you ever feel like chatting about your Maine Coon or Maine Coons in general, feel free to contact me
As soon as I figure out how to post pics, I'll send my baby along! He looks a lot like your cat. He's a little heftier (the Clydesdale of felines) and his fur is a darker tabby color. I will post his Highness as soon as I can!! I love that they are a large breed. Next time (somewhere in the future), I'm getting a boy too and I hope he'll get huuuuge. Not fat, but huge A lot of people have commented the size of my cat as a negative thing (even though she is a female and I don't think she's *that* big). Some people just don't get the greatness of the Maine Coons.
