Dunlop Elite 3 Radial My first Dunlop oem rear tire got 9000 miles. I ordered a new Dunlop Elite 3 radial. After 2 years on it was time for a new rear tire now with 29,000 miles on the bike, that's 20,000 miles on the new Dunlop elite 3 radial tire. I ride with two extra pounds pressure in the rear and front tire. I ride a Yamaha V-Star 1300, outstanding tire for the price and handling. This is my 3rd elite III tire and will comtinue buying this tire. After installing my first Dunlop Elite III I went on trip to Pittsburg, Pa with friends. Upon returning, another rider pulled along side and motioned me to pull over. He then told me I had a flat tire. Riding at 60 MPH, I never knew it was flat. Being Sunday afternoon there were no repair stations open so I continued riding hoe at 60 MOH and could not tell the difference.

When I put bike in my garage, I check tire pressure and it was at 7 PSI. My last Elite was just retires at over 14000 miles with only some cord showing. Recommend this tire to everyone. Dunlop E3 fan for life Put one on my 2005 Kawasaki Nomad and got over 15k miles, and could have gone 1k more. Just time to change. The E3 was a bit noisier than OEM, but nothing intolerable. Liked it so much I bought an E3 for the front. For comparison, just under 10k on the OEM tires, and barely 7k on the Metzler 880 Marathons I tried first. 3rd E-3 for me This is the 3rd Dunlop E3 and I love this tire. We have an '08 Goldwing GL1800, ride 2 up and pull a loaded trailer most of the time. The last E3 we put on the back, we got 14,000 (s)miles out of it. I went with the 70 series and it put the speedometer dead on accurate as some of the years of 1800's the speedometer is off 3-4 mph. I highly recommend this tire! Performance of the E3 is good enough to keep using them. 10,000 miles is decent tread life, especially considering my frequent aggressive acceleration. On par with Commander II's and better than ME880's. Motorcycle Superstore is FANTASTIC! Not only did I get the lowest price AND a $50 rebate from Dunlop, but I ordered on a Thursday morning and my tires arrived the very next day! These are the best tires for mileage and traction . This is my third set ( I've gone though 8 set total of different tires ). I've tried three other brands and they don't come close to these for traction and mileage . Traction is good but tire life leaves my wallet with no traction. Could use a bit more tread life than the 9K miles per change- with conservative driving. DUNLOP ELITE 3 TOUR REAR TIRE I am extremely pleased with the handling of the E3s. Great on cornering and the stability is remarkable. I will recommend them to anyone. Very fast service and a great price!! Too soon to tell about wear.

This is my second set of the elite 3 front and rear. I have a Honda Valkryie and I had 15k on the last set. Never got this many miles on a set. Handles great on wet and dry.Mileage on rear tire was 16k before replacing with same. On front it was 31k before replacing. Ran over a 3 inch screw with rear tire parallel to tread that didn't penetrate inner casing. Tire performed for another 7k without a problem. I've worn out numerous tires- NONE have provided as many miles as the Elite 3's (safe & secure miles). Purchased Victory Cross Country Tour in May (over 10k by Sept); miles included mountains and many hours and miles of rain. I have put on over 200k miles on M/C...never have I felt as confident in a tire (especially in the rain). I am very satisfied with the Elite 3's. Will mount another set when current set becomes unsafe (next spring?). Bike handles like never before. Tracks in a straight line like it's nothing. Sold on these tires. Will never stray from these. Too early to tell on tread life, but fantastic tires otherwise.
