Was a wonderful experience. Me and my husband were camping and the staff and camping people was so nice and the fidelity were we wash up was so clean. The staff are also friendly and helpful. It is also so crime free. We will go there again. We had such a amazing time here. We spent the day with our friends on the grass by die pool. It was such a relaxing day. The pools are well kept and the staff very friendly. Next time we will definitely camp for the weekend. We where invited to visit a grouo of friends there. I was sceptical at first, but pleasantly surprised once we arrived. We only stayed for the day, but next year we will certainly stay the entire weekend with the group of friends. Bathrooms was very clean and the pools clear. A little gem in the mountains. This is one fantastic camping spot. Massive Olympic size swimming pool.Green grass, lots of trees in the camping area. Just in plain saying "Awesome". I will never go back there. Manager quoted us R190pp for camping for the weekend, when we got there, the price was R300pp - so we ended up paying R1200 for camping for 2 nights (2 adults and 2 kids under 5)!!

Sites are very small and cramped. Lots of day visitors. The pools were dirty.I will never recommend this... Thank you very much for taking the time to review our property. Per your comments, we do apologise that there was a mistake made by our reservations team. I had a great weekend it was breath taking lovely summer holiday. There were live bands entertainment for the people day visitors were also there. The atmosphere was great everybody was happy joyful and the pools were loaded with many faces. The water was lovely and the river was great as well. The kiddies had so much fun all day... What an unexpected surprise! We drove up to spend the day (on 13 December 2015) with some family spending the week there. I've never heard of this place before, yet lived in the Cape my whole life. The pool was clean, large and not too deep (according to my kids).

What an amazing place! Nestled away from the hustle and bustle of city life and the best bit was that it was the sort of place you felt safe at and was very clean, orderly and we had... My family and I were basically turned away, we got the cold shoulder from the lady at the front kiosk for asking why we could not be members. I have not been to the chalets and was looking forward to enjoying the day at the pools with my family, but after the racist attitude of the woman and man at... Less than a hundred kilometers away from Cape Town and nestled amongst the beautiful mountains around Franschoek!Camping at De Hollandsche Molen can be really good.
