both mentally and physically in keeping up with the front end of the kennel (phone calls, emails, advertising, paperwork, etc....) The back end of the kennel I have had help with since shortly after Adam passed by his childhood BFF Ray. Ray has been an awesome helping hands and always reliable. When Jasons' mom was ill and passed suddenly this past January, Ray... and his girlfriend Heather (also heart of golden sweetness) stayed here at the house like Adam did when we needed to go out of town to take care of the kennel. So the big news today is.....my cousin Dana herself has gone through some life changes, she decided she needed a change of scenery and more calmness. As she explained to me.... 'helping take care of the dogs.... they love unconditionally and never hate!' Dana and her foster son Zach have moved into the apartment down stairs. She will be the kennel manager, which will include all aspects of the kennel itself. She has raised litters herself out of my lines and is quite versed in everything GSD.

Her kennel name in GA was K9-GA Lines, her now married daughter Cheyenne may keep the kennel name, (undecided at this point). Dana and I have been close since we were teenagers and she is very knowledgeable in the breed and how to tend to the back end of the kennel as well as the front end of the kennel. Dana can answer various questions you may have and if she does not know the answer, I am a shout out or call away for her to get the answer. Dana also brought Kovu - a sable male that was born here that we co-own to be used as a stud, he is Max's full brother. He is very dark sable long coat (summer coat in this pic), he carries blue and liver by default. His sire is OFA excellent. Currently there are different sexes, colors and coat types of GSD puppies born and some ready to go. Both of these pics were taken 3 years ago while I was visiting Dana in GA. The German Shepherds here are all well balanced mentally and physically.  Colors and patterns include;   black, bi-color/blanket back, blue, brindle, fawn, isabella, liver, panda, sable, solid,  colored patterns as well as both standard / brush and long coats.   24 years of service in providing GSD to families all over the world over the years, reading, watching, learning, training, etc... has taught me a lot and with that allows me to offer the best family companion we can produce.   We are not prejudice with color or coat type and have the same philosophy that our Breed founder Max Von Stephanitz has, "No Good Dog is a bad color". Working vs Companion - which 'type' of GSD is right for what you are looking for?? *Working dogs need an occupation, they have a strong drive and want to be doing something all the time.  Their eagerness to please is fueled by ambition.  This is the type of shepherd for police departments, search & rescue, agility, obedience title seekers, or therapy dogs.    

Many imported dogs are this type, so, know what you are getting! These working line bred dogs do not make perfect pets. *Companion dogs are more laid back, they still have drive to please and work, but on a much more manageable level that makes them more suitable for family life.   This is the type of shepherd that most American families are seeking and should get.   This is the dog that once adopted, the family would not give a million dollars in return for them! So be sure to let us know the type of German Shepherd you are looking for. Please know when you inquire about a puppy I will ask what 'type' of GSD you are looking for.  I will ask what other animals you have or are thinking of having, the ages of your children, and what you hope your adult GSD will be for you as an adult.   Then once I get to know what it is you are looking for in your fur friend we can then discuss coat type, coat color, body style, size etc.... The most important thing to discuss first is what you are expecting of your new fur friend.
