Pomeranian show news for Dochlaggie.  Taking two males to Brisbane this year.  At the Ekka under breed specialist judge Mr Weng Woh Chan from Malaysia winning Best Pomeranian Dog with Rebel ( Shallany’s Rebel With A Cause Imported Canada ) and Reserve Dog with our puppy Jack ( Dochlaggie Deagol The Hobbit). Jack won BEST PUPPY IN SHOW. Rebel was dog cc winner and BEST OF BREED. Jack at only 8 months, from the puppy class was Reserve Dog Challenge and ru BEST OF BREED at the EKKA Toy Dog Feature under Clara Ines Pulido Reyes from Colombia . I travelled up to Sydney on the weekend to catch up with Jarrod and Ashlee. We had a great time with the highlight of the weekend being Rebel’s ( Australian Multi Best in Show Supreme & Canadian Champion Shallany’s Rebel With A Cause imported Canada) BEST IN SHOW award. At the Friday Sydney Kennel Club Show Dochlaggie cleaned up winning BEST IN SHOW, BEST EXHIBIT IN GROUP. BEST OPEN IN SHOW AND BEST OPEN IN GROUP & BEST MINOR PUPPY IN GROUP. Our new boy ( Dochlaggie Deagol The Hobbit ) at only 7 months was reserve challenge dog and r/u BEST OF BREED and BEST MINOR PUPPY IN GROUP ( Also winning best minor puppy of breed at all shows). Dochlaggie also won all bitch challenge awards. Sorry about the quality of the photo. Tired today after the long drive home but looking forward to doing it again soon. Bad breeders only use sites to show off and sell puppies. Good breeders have websites full of pictures of their dogs doing everything.

Field breeders will show their dogs holding a duck or on point. Flyball breeders will show their dogs coming off of the box or jumping. There could also be some great photos with their family or some candid photos but it’s obvious that the breeder is focused on more than simply pets. poodleBad breeders will only have photos of the dogs sitting down or, the absolute worst photos are of female dogs when they’re pregnant or they’re nursing (hanging low). If you see a photo of a dog behind wire, that’s a glaringly obvious red flag, especially if you don’t see any shots without wire. If the dogs are dirty, that’s also a bad sign. Good breeders will often show casual shots, but the dogs pictured will be clean, washed, blown and nicely stacked. Our new boy Dochlaggie Deagol The Hobbit was Best Minor Puppy in Group after being awarded r u Best of Breed from the minor puppy class. I ventured out with the main man REBEL and our new black girl BARBIE to the Albury Dog Show. Rebel won BEST EXHIBIT IN GROUP and Barbie won bitch …challenge at her first outing. The Judge, Mrs J. Horton awarded Rebel his very first BEST EXHIBIT IN GROUP only a few weeks after arriving in Australia. Had a wonderful weekend at shows at Bulla. It was great to catch up with Ashlee and Jarrod and the weather was perfect. Dochlaggie had a clean sweep of the breed with Best Exhibit in group 3, Best of Breed, Dog and Bitch challenge on Saturday. Best of Breed, Dog and Bitch challenge again on Sunday and these points titled our puppy girl Rosie, who will be now known as Australian Champion Dochlaggie Daredevil Woman. Another Champion Rebel daughter.What a great Easter up at Bundaberg. Thanks to Ashlee and Jarrod for your hospitality. Bundaberg was a wonderful venue and it was great to catch up with friends I have not seen for years and make new friends.
