I Was so thrilled that the new valances looked exactly how I had in envisioned. I then ordered them for the rest of my windows. I did use the Bali valance clips that i already had. This made the installation super easy. Originally I ordered blinds from a home improvement store and I was satisfied with the blinds but very unhappy with how the valances looked. (They were cut the same size as the blinds, so they really didn't look finished.) The only issue I had with the new valances is that I will still need to cut the returns in order to have them fit the distance from the wall to the valance since my blinds are installed inside the frame.

It does appear that if one's blinds are installed on the outside of the window frame than these returns and clips would work without any modification . The pearl white is a bit darker that I had expected, but works fine. The other white would have been too white. Great valance!, Tuesday, January 05, 2016 The faux wood crown valence was amazing! It was easy to install and completely updated the look of the faux wood blinds in my house. I ordered this valence with the returns, which measure approximately 2.5" in width. The valence clips you send do not reach from the valence to the blind! How are customers attaching the valences w/returns when the clips you send do not extend the width of the returns that you sell?!! Hi, just to make sure we are on the same page there are two type of clips we would have sent: 1) a clip that attaches the return to the valance (this is a small piece that acts like a hinge. 2) The valance clip itself that attaches from the grooves in the valance to the headrail of the blind.

This too will be smaller than the width of the valance. Did receive both of these? I can't tell from your question if you are having any issue putting on the returns or attaching the valance to the headrail -- but these issues should be independent.
