remember each hunter needs to have the MEW 2016-2017 Hunting License and Wildlife Management License. You can pick up your WMA Maps/ Permit at a local Walmart or sporting good store. Remember to wear your hunters orange and NO transportation of any live hog! The reason for the change in venue will give other members in the association a convenient opportunity to attend a meeting like it has for others the past two years. It is only fair to try and change places and allow others to be able to attend. I tried to hold the meeting around Jackson or Thomasville area but could never seem to find an affordable place that could comfortably hold all our members in one spot. We have been working diligently with the DCNR on certain issues about hog dog hunting and this was one of them. Effective immediately you may night hunt your dogs without a depredation permit until August 31st and then again for the 2017 season.
