We Always Need Foster Carers! Do you have room in your heart and home to provide foster care for a homeless dog, cat, puppy or kitten? The number of homeless dogs and cats we can rescue and rehome is limited by how many foster care spaces we have available. Foster homes are needed for both short term (e.g., 2-3 weeks) and long term care. Dogs and cats are vaccinated and behaviour evaluated before being placed with a foster family. We will discuss your household situation and match you with a type of pet to suit you - a puppy, a large or small breed dog, an adult cat, or a kitten. We are so full, we have had to put some rescues into boarding kennels! If you can foster a medium or large dog (e.g., Staffy up to very large Rottie sized), please ring us on 0490064900. Wagga area or willing to pick up from Wagga. We are having fun playing dress ups today with some of our foster puppies! Junior here needs twice-weekly medicated shampoos for ringworm. He will be available for adoption in 2-3 more weeks, after he's all better.

Meet Marshall the sweet Staffy, he's an older pup/young adult and available now for adoption or fostering. Marshall has a crooked hind leg due to an old fracture. As a foster-based rescue with a tiny budget, we don't have a shelter property with a kennel block. Our volunteers' lives would be easier if we did, but we think that Benji here is quite happy to snooze on a sofa instead of in a cage. A kennel block would be useful for transitional housing though, it's definitely on our wish list! Remember this little girl? After two months of treatment, Nellie is nearly ready for a new home - she just has one more skin test on Friday which will hopefully show that she is all better!
